Tue 17 Jun - We have received an urgent request to pray for and send letters of encouragement to Pastor Emerson Moreno, who oversees a Baptist church in the community of Algodones in Ciego de Avila province. Pastor Moreno has been the target of serious harassment at the hands of local communist party leaders over the past few years and is currently in a very difficult situation. Fri 27 Jun - Hindu extremists stopped G.’s New Testament distribution in Bhubaneswar in Orissa State. New Testaments were being given to college students that were leaving the Examination Centre at the Central School. They were forced to pack up the New Testaments and leave immediately. Please pray for the students that have received the New Testaments would put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, pray for those injured in this attack and for God’s Word to go forth without disturbance in this area of India.
Sat 28 Jun - Please pray for J. She is in constant pain, from a neck surgery where they fused her neck, and they also did a scan and found she had a mass on her thyroid, which turned out to be cancerous. They removed the thyroid, and I pray all the cancer is gone. Continue to pray for a complete healing. L., U.S.A.
