Tue 01 Jul - Burma’s detained democracy leader mrs. A. will mark her 63rd birthday on 19 June. She remains the world’s only imprisoned Nobel Laureate, and is now in her 12th year of house arrest. “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” has touched her heart.
She also asked Christians around the world to pray for Burma. Please remember mrs. A., a Buddhist, in your prayers. Pray that she will accept Jesus a s her Saviour. B., Burma.

Fri 04 Jul - Nicole gave birth to a little girl, Skyler, yesterday and Nicole has had a brain haemorrhage. They are saying that she is brain dead. They will do another test this afternoon. There is also a brother that is being released from a detox program and they are worried this will be very challenging to his recovery. Please pray for a miracle for Nicole and for peace for the entire family. Linda

Mon 07 Jul - Please pray for S. who is a Christian bookseller in Beijing, China. In March he was arrested and accused of selling Bibles and Christian books without permission. S. suffers from diabetes but his is not allowed to take his medecins. Pray he will receive medical help and that his wife is allowed to visit him.
Tue 08 Jul - Last week I heard shocking news. My friend, 44 years old, has cancer and the cancer has spread. Doctors cannot help her anymore. She only has six months to live. She is living alone. Please pray for healing. A.
Wed 09 Jul - Please pray about the slander from my former co-workers in Hesston, Kansas, will stop immediately. I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, but apparently my former co-workers slandered me to my manager and gave a bad report about me to him (Ed). He did not check things out, but took their words as truth. . I have some job interviews, so pray that the Lord will open the doors to a good job with benefits, which I currently don’t have. C.F.
Thur 10 Jul - A Pentecostal church in Moron, a city in central Cuba, has been threatened with closure by local authorities. Earlier this month, church leaders from the Christ the Resurrection and Eternal Life Church, which belongs to the Assemblies of God denomination, were told that they would not be able to hold services and that the church might be shut down completely.

Sat 19 Jul - In Baidawa, Islamic extremists have shot and killed, the 29-year-old victim D., a Muslim convert to Christianity. In Somalia’s strict Muslim society, D.’s conversion to Christianity brought enormous shame on his family. Pray for the safety of the Muslims who follow Jesus as their Saviour now. Baidawa, Somalia.
Sun 20 Jul - Please pray that the Lord would be able to break through the wall that keeps J. from being healed in every respect. She was horribly abused as a child and throughout most of her adult life, mentally, physically, and sexually. She needs a miracle of grace and mercy to heal her heart and set her free! H.

Tue 22 Jul - Please pray for K., who suffers from oesophagus cancer. The cancer has spread to the lymph nodes. K. is 54 years old and is married, but he does not know our Lord Jesus as his Saviour. Please pray that he will accept Jesus as Lord of his life and for healing. M.
Wed 23 Jul - Please pray for us here in Kenya. We have really suffered after the elections, that we will able to return back without threats and for our hotel industry that was badly affected to pick up so people stop loosing their jobs. L.

Sat 26 Jul - A., my daughter, just went to the doctor to have an ultrasound and they found out that the baby is about 2 pounds underweight than she should be. A.’s uterus is constricting the growth of the baby. Her amniotic fluids are low. I would appreciate every ones prayers that the baby would start to grow so they do will not have to take her early. T.
