Wed. Jan. 2 – Pastor O., a well-known leader of the Kale-Hiwot Church in Eritrea, was arrested and imprisoned. Pray God sustains and strengthens him, while he is in prison. Pray that the Holy Spirit encourages his family and church. Ask God to protect Christians in Eritrea who are serving Him in the midst of severe persecution.

Sat. Jan. 5 – My father has pain in his knee and feet. He has heart and breathing problems. Pray for his healing and a change in his life. – Br. S. Pakistan
Sun. Jan. 6 – There have been many killings of women in the Kwa Zulu-Natal area. Children are orphaned and this in itself predisposes them to poverty, child-headed families and other social ills. Pray for those who have been scorned by abuse, rape etc.
Mon. Jan. 7 – A recently new Christian S.H. is pregnant with her first child and diagnosed with some sort of thyroid disorder and other physical problems, which could complicate the pregnancy and birth of the baby. – Br. C. U.S.A.
Tue. Jan. 8 – Please pray for Miss L. She misses somebody in her life. Pray that God’s love will fill her heart and pray for God’s provision in her financial needs.
Wed. Jan. 9 – Br. C. who was arrested in India remains in jail. Please pray daily for Br. C.
Thur. Jan. 10 – Please pray for Ruth C. She is battling cancer.
Fri. Jan. 11 – Could you please pray for me as well as for my sister? We live together with our elderly mother and take care of her. I often have severe attacks of fear. Now I am lying sick on my bed. Please pray for us.
Sat. Jan. 12 – Please pray for my girlfriend Y. She needs prayer to be released from her fears of her past. Her fear is a problem for our future wedding. – Br. K.
Sun. Jan. 13 – The major problem in our 240 orphans ministry is the daily feeding and Medicare. Please pray for God’s provision for this problem. – Pastor J. East Africa

Thur. Jan. 17 – K.’s husband left her and her 2 daughters recently. They are all devastated. Please pray for God to sustain them through this excruciatingly difficult time and provide for all of their needs. She also has an abusive mother en is really in desperate need of intensive healing from all this.
Fri. Jan. 18 – Eric is schizophrenic and homeless, unclean and in desperate need of healing in every respect. Please pray for him.
Sat. Jan. 19 – My husband J. is addicted to gambling and both my sons have difficulty with the same addiction. Please pray for their deliverance.
Sun. Jan. 20 – Please pray for my sister. She would like to have a child. Pray also for br. S. and his wife as they would like to have a child either. – Br. S. Pakistan

Wed. Jan. 23 – Islamic militants threatened to bomb a Christian family for refusing to convert to Islam in Pakistan. Please pray for this situation in Pakistan.
Thur. Jan. 24 – Please pray for br. R. That God will protect him in the things he is doing for God.
Fri. Jan. 25 – Please pray for a Belarusian Christian prisoner (26) who was jailed for 18 months as a result of his participation in a youth pro-reform movement founded on Christian principles.
Sat. Jan. 26 – Pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel; that we will be sober-minded yet fearless. Pray that the Lord would shelter the entire believers community in Gaza under His wings.
Sun. Jan. 27 – Please pray that my children and I will be able to stay in our rented townhouse en for healing for my brother from his cancer. – Mrs. F.
Mon. Jan. 28 – Br. R. took a seminar for elders and other Christians in the bush area. Pray that they will grow in the Lord and be protected from immorality that surrounds them. - Zambia
Tue. Jan. 29 – Pray God gives Christians in Turkey boldness to stand for Him.
Wed. Jan. 30 – Please pray for a husband and wife, brother S. and sister G. They both have been diagnosed with cancer. Pray for their healing.
Thur. Jan. 31 – Police repeatedly attacked prominent house church leader, pastor H. He lost consciousness after the beatings. H. is under house arrest to put pressure on him to reveal names and information of believers. His mother (77) remains very ill in prison, serving a 2-year sentence. Pray for H.’s speedy recovery and for God to encourage both him and his mother.
