April
Sun. April 1 – I really need a personal touch from God while I’m going through a very tough time physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially. I know God’s Work and I know in my head and heart that He loves me, but now I’m pretty burned out and weary from a long, long journey with much hardship. Please pray for me. – H.

Mon. April 2 – Please pray for A.G. and his family. Pray that the Lord shall led him to the right job and where He wants them to live. They have financial problems and have 2 children. Their third child will be born in May 2007. Pray that the Lord shall provide for them in all ways.

Tue. April 3 – My wife and I have been married for some time now and we have been looking up to God for fruits of the womb. We, therefore, request you to join us in praying to God for our own children and good jobs. – T.R.

Wed. April 4 – Alexandra came out of a raging fire alive, but now has to fight for her life and a normal future. She is 14 months old and she has burnt skin all over her body, damage to her facial bones (as a result of very high temperature).

Thur. April 5 – Ask God to reveal Himself to pilgrims who are seeking for inner peace, like Hindus. Ask for the revelation of the Prince of Peace to enter their hearts. Ask God to give them His spirit of wisdom and revelation and that they will grow in the knowledge of who He is. Pray that the revelation of Jesus would reach the hearts of those who are following false religions.

Fri. April 6 – Please pray for our family, my husband and I have both sugar high bloodpresure. For the study of my children and some other problems in our family. Islamabad Pakistan.

Sat. April 7 – Please pray for my mom, Jane, who has asthma and a severely arthritic knee. She is in a lot of pain, and has a poor sleep. Her kneecap is almost gone. Please ask God to heal her knee.

Sun. April 8 – Please pray for me. I have a drug problem and I’m so depressed I want to die. I’m so tired of this, I can’t stop crying. If I did not have a very sick mother and a disabled wife that I have to take care of, I would have ended all my pain years ago. Please pray for me, I’m just about all out of hope. Thank you, A. S.

Mon. April 9 – The body of 29-year-old pastor Goda Israel was found with stab wounds on February 20 in a canal in Krishna district of the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. The slain pastor, who is survived by his wife and small children, was overseeing 15 churches that he established in the region. Pastor Israel had earlier been threatened by Hindu extremists due to his involvement in the preaching of the gospel in the area. Please pray for his wife, children and 15 churches in this difficult time. Pray that Gods Kingdom shall expand more than ever in India.

Tue. April 10 – On Wednesday evening, February 28, about 500 anti-Christian militants attacked the staff and students of a Gospel for Asia Bible college. This is one of the most severe situations we've ever dealt with. Five students were hospitalised, one in critical condition. Please join me in praying for complete restoration of the injured students, staff members and their college. Also join me in praying for the souls of these 500 men who carried out the attack - they, too, need the love of God. Please pray that this will become an opportunity for us to share the love of Jesus to the people who are persecuting us. - K. P. Y., GFA.

Wed. April 11 – Please pray for our Church and Orphan home, which was destroyed by the Hindu extremists, radical groups. Pray for the pastors, the orphan home children, the New life Center women and for the ministry. We need your prayers, love, encouragement, guidance and support for everything we do for the cause of establishing the Lord’s Kingdom here in this heathen land. Rev. M. B., Malakappalli, India.

Thur. April 12 – I really need your prayers for strength and provision. Please also pray for a lady at the shelter named Margarita who has a really bad foot. She is sleeping in a chair here and has many other unspoken requests. Pray also for the people coming here. Some of them are still struggling with drug- and alcohol addiction. Brother Danny

Fri. April 13 – Please pray for me, I suffer from bath headaches for over 10 year now. That God will take this pain away. Sandra B.B. Pakistan

Sat. April 14 – Please pray for my cousin A.E. He does not love Christ; he is occultic and now very sick. He is diabetic with soar in his leg. Pray that God should touch and save him. – O.Ben

Sun. April 15 – Please pray for Ilya who is suffering from headache and high blood pressure. Ask God to heal him and give him the strength to go about doing His will and bringing glory to God.

Mon. April 16 – Will you please keep me in prayer for healing from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and also from asthma? I ask for a whole body healing and my airways to breathe freely. By His stripes I am healed. – Susan F.

Tue. April 17 – Please pray for Manja, a GFA Nepali missionary serving a prison sentence for a crime he did not commit. God is using Manja and his wife, Rati, during this difficult separation period. – The GFA Prayer Team

Wed. April 18 – Somalia “Sovereign God, we seek Your protection over those practicing Christians who are still in Somalia, against all odds and despite the recent political and military struggle this nation has seen. We thank You that You hold onto a remnant in this land despite heavy persecution, and pray that You would bless them with great wisdom and grace as they seek to live for You.”

Thur. April 19 – Please pray for my mom. Her name is Savitri D. Please pray for the Lord to heal her of arthritis, can’t walk properly, and all other diseases that are present in her body. She is in great pain. – Rev. E.P.

Fri. April 20 – Pray for the children that are growing up in war-stricken countries. Ask God to heal the former child soldiers that are now grown men and women. Pray that God would heal them from anger, pain and suffering. That His Name would be their healing. – JWP Network

Sat. April 21 – Betty and Gene: Please pray for their son, Brian, that he would be delivered and set free from drugs and be completely emotionally healed from his past. Betty is very crippled from polio and has multiple bad health issues. Gene’s health is being affected as well. Brian has two small children and is divorced.

Sun. April 22 – Please pray for Joanna. She needs urgent prayer for deliverance from much lifelong bondage and to be totally set free in every area of her life. Please pray for her parents who are at a loss as how to help her.

Mon. April 23 – Please pray for my friend. She has a liver disorder and she is in intensive care. Her name is Diana W. – Jerry For Esthema, who has breathing problems. Pakistan

Tue. April 24 – Please pray for Stephen P., 30 years old. He is suffering from cancer in his lungs. Pray for divine touch, miracle healing and for total health. – Pastor A.A.G. Please pray for my old mother who is very sick; she has arthritis and is depressive. I.B. Pakistan.

Wed. April 25 – Please pray for Bob. He has had colon cancer for a long time. The doctors are saying that he has approx. 3 months to live. He is in a lot of pain and is turning yellow. - Michelle

Thur. April 26 – Mickël B., a French Christian Leader is very sick. The name in French is “poly arthrite évolutive”. And now it touched his heart. His strength is very weak. He needs your prayer. - Eugéne

Fri. April 27 – Please pray for my aunt in Kinshasa, Congo. Please pray for total recovery in her life and for financial support. Also her daughter Gisele and husband Carl needs prayer. They need support in their ministry and in their finances.

Sat. April 28 – Eritrean Security Police took Pastor Habtom T. into custody in Asmara. The 57-year-old T. is incarcerated in the capital’s Wongel Mermera prison, along with nearly two dozen other Christian pastors and priests known to remain jailed in the notorious investigation centre. Please pray for them.

Sun. April 29 – Countries listed among the top 10 worst persecutors of Christians include Saudi Arabia, Iran, Somalia, Vietnam, Laos and Afghanistan. Let us pray for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters.

Mon. April 30 – Against a backdrop of unremitting violence and the constant threat of persecution, Iraqi Christians are being forced out of their communities and onto the road in a desperate search for safety. Please pray for our Iraqi Christian brothers and sisters
